Linium Supports The Home Depot Foundation in Building New Homes for Veterans

home-depot-foundation.jpgLinium, a world-class provider of business services that empower the entire enterprise, was proud to join The Home Depot Foundation to build new homes for U.S. military veterans and their families, part of an effort that also helped to raise $2.65 million to provide additional support in the future.

Linium was among a group of 240 volunteers consisting of The Home Depot’s IT vendors, associates from The Home Depot, and representatives of Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles that gathered on May 11 in Habitat’s new Bellflower community. The group built several homes in the neighborhood that will be occupied by veterans and their families, and also built and decorated custom playhouses for the children of veteran families.

“As a company committed to supporting community-focused and socially conscious activities, Linium was delighted to contribute its time and energy to give back to our military men and women, whose sacrifice to our nation is worthy of our respect and admiration,” said Joe Burke, Chief Executive Officer of Linium. “We thank The Home Depot Foundation for the opportunity to participate in this important cause, and salute their exceptional efforts to improve the lives of military members and their families.”

The Home Depot Foundation has committed to invest a quarter of a billion dollars to veteran-related causes by 2020.
