Senior Developer, Washington DC

Linium is currently recruiting for a Senior ServiceNow Developer in Washington, DC to join our Linium team! 

Duties of the role:

  • Work with Linium clients to present implementation vision
  • Create technical best practices to improve delivery, efficiency and quality of Linium’s projects 
  • Assist with technical challenges across a portfolio of complex projects
  • Configuration and customization of ServiceNow
  • Development of required client specific reporting
  • Development of requirement integration components
  • Prepare all technology related client facing and internal deliverables 
  • Validation and tracking of value delivered by ServiceNow solution
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction throughout the engagement cycle

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Recent ServiceNow implementation experience
  • Experience with CMS and Service Portal
  • Experience with Incident Management, Change Management, Problem, Asset Management, CMDB Management, and Service Catalog Modules
  • Understanding of ServiceNow functionality and how all ITIL processes can be implemented in ServiceNow
  • Comfortable working with Federal Government agencies and integrators
  • Developing workflow customizations, and supporting the Service transformation teams

  • Assist with technical challenges across a portfolio of complex projects
  • Configuration and customization of ServiceNow
  • Development of required client specific reporting
  • Development of requirement integration components Prepare all technology related client facing and internal deliverables
  • Be the lead resource on ServiceNow Orchestration projects

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in hands-on ServiceNow (either system administration, User Interface modification or architectural knowledge) meeting client requirements and performing system tuning
  • At least 4 years’ experience ServiceNow Orchestration
  • At least 4 years experience in demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; written and oral

Solution Architect

Linium is currently recruiting for a ServiceNow Solution Architect to join our Linium team! The Solution Architect is primarily responsible for supporting the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions to Linium customers, configuration and customization of ServiceNow solutions, and following best practices to improve delivery of Linium’s projects.

  • Work with Linium clients to present implementation vision
  • Create technical best practices to improve delivery, efficiency and quality of Linium’s projects
  • Assist with technical challenges across a portfolio of complex projects
  • Configuration and customization of ServiceNow
  • Development of required client specific reporting
  • Development of requirement integration components Prepare all technology related client facing and internal deliverables
  • Provide technical design and leadership and ensure the highest standard of technical quality

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years’ of experience in hands-on ServiceNow (either system administration, User Interface modification or architectural knowledge) meeting client requirements and performing system tuning
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in programming JavaScript or other related technologies
  • At least 5 years’ experience in developing on the ServiceNow platform including the customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
  • Experienced in leading other technical team members to a desired solution—requirements review, code reviews, support and coaching
  • At least 5 years of experience in demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; written and oral
  • At least 5 years of experience in/with ITIL
  • Experience with the configuration of applications, modules, user interface, tasks, emails and events
  • Understanding of packaging and migration of configurations
  • Ability to tailor existing ITIL workflows to customer requirements using workflow editor
  • Design of custom reports knowledge, and basic data loading principles
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Architect or Solutions lead on ServiceNow Implementations projects

Project Manager

The Project Manager is a professional services consulting role for an experienced business management strategist who will serve as the Project Manager on the Delivery Team. This person will be responsible for the completion of Project Management deliverables and serves as the point of escalation for all Project related issues. A Manager is a leader within Linium responsible for people development and serves as a mentor to analysts, consultants and senior consultants. Also supports the Senior Managers and Managing Directors/Principals to further expand client relationships and addressing a client's most pressing business issues by delivering a combination of strategy, process, people and technology related services.

Additional duties of the role:

  • Serves as the day to day Project Manager on client engagements and owns the completion of all Project Management deliverables. First point of review and approval of client deliverables.
  • Provides regular training and mentoring for an assigned team of resources as well as manages resources on engagements.
  • Leads oversight of compiling client deliverables including client approach documents and proposals.
  • Supports business development efforts to expand our footprint within existing clients and winning work at new clients.
  • Responsible for invoicing and managing client engagement financials.
  • Leads the preparation of workshop materials and co-leads workshop discussions.
  • Reviews and approves Business Requirements Documents and Technical Design Documents.
  • Serves as the lead in client best practice sessions and training sessions.
  • Presents industry research and recommended best practices to clients.
  • Reviews and approves technical documents such as ITSM Service Catalog, data mapping documents, architecture diagrams, conceptual and detailed design diagrams.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Four or more years of related experience with a management consulting firm, software organization or a minimum of eight years industry experience in an IT, business operations, finance or related function. Prior Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive level presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Advanced knowledge of business process mapping software such as Visio.
  • Prior experience with ITSM, ITIL or COBIT frameworks.
  • Prior consulting experience managing IT Application Development, working for a Linium partner, IT and business process redesign or change management.
  • Prior experience serving in a project management capacity. PMI certification a plus.
