Federal ServiceNow Systems Administrator (Local to DC/Virginia area)

Linium has an immediate full-time opening for an Advanced ServiceNow Systems Administrator. Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC area, as some travel will be required.  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Managing the ServiceNow Administrator’s queue for resolving incidents and fulfilling service requests
  • Requirements refinement for Operations & Maintenance/Enhancement change requests
  •  Executing platform upgrade(s) while ensuring configurations and customizations function in the Production instance; testing current configurations and performing remediation to ensure 100% functionality on the upgraded platform  
  • Quality Assurance testing for Operations & Maintenance/Enhancement change requests  
  • Executing Operations & Maintenance/Enhancement change requests 
  • Conducting quality assurance testing for all changes  
  • Documenting all work performed, to include changes to the platform and application including enhancements and/or defect remediation as well as creating relevant knowledge based articles.  
  • Updating Operations & Maintenance/Enhancements manual as internal processes evolve and change.  
  • Documenting all work pertaining to the administration of the ServiceNow instances including pseudocode imbedded as code comments. 
  • Communicating all changes, availability of capabilities, and upcoming news and events from ServiceNow that may impact the ServiceNow instances within two business days of the receiving the change/event notification.

In executing changes to the platform the vendor shall maintain and improve the ServiceNow configuration to include creating, modifying, documenting and maintaining the following ServiceNow elements:

The ServiceNow Solution Architect should have previous ServiceNow experience/exposure with JavaScript programming skills. Enterprise Service Management

Manager

 The Manager role is a mid-level professional services consulting role within Linium for individuals with 8 or more years of related experience. You will be placed within one of our Client Services Delivery Teams where you will be responsible for people development, engagement management and business development support.  A Manager is a leader within Linium and your responsibilities as a leader and mentor of analysts, consultants, and senior consultants are vital to our success.  On the Client Services Delivery Teams, you will serve as a Project Manager on Client Service Engagements, typically running anywhere from 3 to 8 months.  You will also support the Senior Managers, Executive Directors/ Principals to further expand our client relationships and addressing a client’s most pressing business issues by delivering a combination of strategy, process, people, and technology related services. 

‏Linium is seeking candidates with at least 8 years of related experience who have demonstrated successful progression within the field and proven prior leadership and consulting experience. As a Linium Manager you need to be comfortable supporting business development and client relationship activities, manage resources on Client Service Engagements, operate in a high-paced team environment, possess capable problem-solving skills and not only be a part of a broader Client Service Engagement Team, and taking the lead in some areas, but also support Linium’s success by working on internal initiatives and people development.

‏To succeed as a Manager, while your primary metric that will be used during your Annual Performance Review is your utilization (the number of hours you are billable on Client Services Engagements) and the quality of your work on those engagements, you will have an increased focus on leadership, people development and business development. As a Manager, you are expected to have 1140 billable hours per year and receive positive ratings (3 or higher) on all Project Evaluation Forms. The remainder of your time will be spent on training and professional development that is paid for by Linium (roughly 5%), business development (15%), internal initiatives (5%), and people development (roughly 15%).

Sample of Engagement Responsibilities

  • Serves as the day to day Project Manager on client engagements and owns the completion of all Project Management deliverable  
  • Responsible for invoicing and managing client engagement financials  
  • Is the first point of review and approval of client deliverables  
  • Leads the oversight of compiling client deliverables including client approach documents and proposals

Enterprise Service Management

Senior Consultant

The Senior Consultant role is a mid-level professional services consulting role within Linium for individuals with 6 to 9 years of related experience. You will be placed into a vertical based on your competency strengths within our Solutions Group where you will be part of team delivering various solution offerings through Client Service Engagement assignments and serve as the lead in completing various stages of the business requirements. Typically Client Service Engagements will run anywhere from 3 to 8 months and you will be a part of a Client Services Delivery Team responsible for addressing a client’s most pressing business issues by delivering a combination of strategy, process, people, and technology related services. Additionally, you will take the lead in the completion of technical documents.  

‏Linium is seeking candidates with at least 5 years of related experience who have demonstrated successful progression within the field and proven capable of taking on additional responsibilities. As a Linium Senior Consultant you need to have a strong attention to detail, be able to apply industry best practices in the form of client deliverables, operate in a high-paced team environment, possess capable problem-solving skills and not only be a part of a broader Client Service Engagement Team, and taking the lead in some areas, but also support Linium’s success by working on internal initiatives.

‏The typical career path for a Senior Consultant is 4 years in their current role after which they are promoted to Manager based on Linium’s Performance evaluation process. During the typical 4 years in the Senior Consultant role, you will be expected to be a valuable asset to the Engagement Leadership Team by assisting in compiling and meeting client deliverables, as well as serving as the lead in completing Business Requirements Documents, co-leading workshop discussions and conducting industry research and analysis. Additionally, you will take the lead in the completion of technical documents.

Hyperion Consultant needed to play an integral part of the configuration, delivery and implementation phases of Hyperion Planning projects. Under supervision of a Director and/or project manager, the Senior Consultant gathers information to create, develop and enhance project deliverables that meet the customer’s expectations. The Senior Consultant will be working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including budgeting and planning managers and financial analysts.

  • Candidate must be comfortable working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including Budgeting and Planning Managers and Financial Analysts.
