Senior HFM Consultant, Insight Practice

 

Senior HFM Consultant needed to play an integral part of the configuration, delivery and implementation phases of Hyperion Financial Management. Under supervision of a Director and/or project manager, the Senior HFM Consultant gathers information to create, develop and enhance project deliverables that meet the customer’s expectations. The Senior HFM Consultant will be working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including budgeting and planning managers and financial analysts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of cross-project tasks working with client and Linium team members:

  • Able to Setup HFM Applications
  • Able to Load Dimensionality using EPMA or Classic
  • Able to Create Data Forms (HFM)
  • Able to Use Extended Analytics
  • Able to Create HFM Rules (HFM Specific)
  • Able to Create Security File for Upload for HFM
  • Able to use Financial Data Management
  • Able to understand the various components of HFM Consolidation Rules (Full Consolidation, Sub Consolidations) and Principles (Journal Entries, Currency Translation, Intercompany)
  • Able to Create Reports using Financial Reports against HFM
  • Able to Create Reports from Cell Text, or Annotations (HFM Specific)

Qualifications - Required Skills/Experience:

  • Hands on design, configuration and delivery experience implementing Hyperion Financial Management through at least two full lifecycle projects, however three or more is generally preferred.
  • Candidate must be comfortable working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including Budgeting and Planning Managers and Financial Analysts.
  • Functional background of budgeting and planning processes, or accounting.
  • Creative problem solving and data analysis skills.
  • Recognized ability to present written/oral information clearly for a variety of audiences, including management and Financial Leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal characteristics and the ability to collaborate constructively with customers, managers and team members from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational traits and ability to coordinate multiple activities in a complex, dynamic work environment, including virtual teams.
  • Ability to deliver under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Strong aptitude and proficiency in MS Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Conscientious, self-motivated worker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

Education:

  • An accredited college degree in a business-related field (bachelor degree preferred) and four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Industry certifications desirable.

Administrative Assistant

 

Administrative Assistant needed to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee logistics for special event planning and liaise with vendors
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Skillfully use the company’s templates, branding and correspondence guidance, to format and edit documents from draft to client-ready stage
  • May conduct various analytical special projects, especially involving preparations for senior management meetings, project tracking and resource planning
  • All other duties assigned
  • Process Expense reports and approved delegate as required
  • Assess needs of Leadership and make recommendations to address as necessary and create actionable plans to address

The Director is responsible for leading design sessions for planning implementations and understands all technical aspects of planning implementations. The Director is responsible for providing troubleshooting help to consultants with planning group. The Director will be working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including budgeting and planning managers and financial analysts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of cross-project tasks working with client and Linium team members:

  • Set up Planning and Essbase
  • Load dimensionality using outline load utility or ODI Planning
  • Create web input forms (Planning)
  • Create date load rules (Essbase)
  • Create security file for upload for Planning
  • Create integration process using load rules or ODI
  • Create reports using financial reports against Essbase
  • Create planning reports from cell text, supporting detail or annotations (Planning)
  • Use Hyperion business rules for setting up new calculations or run time prompts (Planning specific)
  • Develop dashboards using web services
  • Demo planning application and explain both from a technical and a functional perspective.
  • Lead functional requirement discussions
  • Implement customized financial models designed to meet the customer’s requirements.
  • Create dynamic solutions based on complex business own planning and forecasting requirements.
  • Discuss and build prototypes and leading scoping discussions
  • Create ASO Database (Essbase specific)

While managing multiple projects concurrently, the Senior Director is responsible for mentoring managers and consultants within their region.

Technical Consultant

 

Technical Consultant needed for the successful delivery of ServiceNow's solutions and services, in a client consulting environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead all technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery including:

  • Application UI Configuration.
  • Workflow Configuration.
  • Development of required client specific reporting.
  • Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc).
  • Interface with Linium technical teams, to successfully set up the SaaS platform.
  • Be a key member of the overall implementation project team.
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables.
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.

  Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML etc) and of working in a SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult around key technical decisions during project delivery
