Sales Executive

 

Job Description:                                               

The Sales Executive actively engages prospective clients and partners to develop relationships and then must maintain quality contacts with key decision makers. It is important that this person employs company resources as needed to assist in identifying, scoping and closing sales. This person must manage existing accounts, expand current sales levels and be able to identify and satisfy client needs. The Sales Executive will work with sales management, SE’s, project managers, delivery specialists and others within Linium to ensure client needs are met. It is essential that this person be able to create complete, accurate, detailed sales activity reports as requested, including forecasts and annual/quarterly sales plans. Proficiency in delivering presentations for software solutions and services offered by Linium is a vital. Expert level written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are equally important. The Sales Executive will report to the Director of Sales.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must represent Linium in a professional manner at all times and ensure the operational aspects of performance conforms to the ethical and qualitative standards of Linium
  • Create and maintain the pertinent documentation to support the sales motion and account health.  Includes but not limited to: proposals, SOWs, account plans, whitespace reports, close plans etc
  • Participate in partner and industry networking events to promote services and software opportunities
  • Use of Salesforce (and other internal Linium tools i.e. Collaborate) tool to manage sales opportunities and activity, customer inforamtion and competitive information
  • Participate in all aspects of the client relationship, such as prospecting, customer retention, contract/SOW negotiation and overall client satisfaction
  • Must function as an effective team player when interacting with company management, other sales reps, project management, delivery, operations management and other corporate functions
  • Must accurately and in a timely manner complete activity loggs, sales pipelines, reports, customer proposals and any other assigned administrative duties in the appropriate standardized process flow
  • Attend trainings and seminars to continue education
  • Focus on prospecting and customer growth planning within assigned territory, to have an adequate number of prospects/customers/opportunities within the pipeline to achieve quota targets
  • Develop, reviewand execute an individual sales plan with sales management, and execute acceptable sales strategies to sell software and services to accounts within each assigned territory
  • All other duties assigned.

Basic Qualifications

To Perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ablity required.   • At least 5-7 years of prior consulting services sales experience and track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue goals in the range of 3.5 - 5 million dollars
  • Demonstrated ability to develop close working relationships at all levels of an organization up to and including CEO level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to find and qualify targeted opportunities, engage C-Level executives and close business
  • Proven successful experience of working consistently towards a goal, overcoming obstacles and asking for the order
  • Ability to understand, defend and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Ability to grasp complex solutions whether they be process or technical in nature
  • Ability to think fast, learn quickly and effectively articulate business and relevant technology concepts
  • Willingness to invest in personal enablement outside of the traditional sales day hours i.e. work after hours to stay current on industry trends etc.  Linium will invest in you but you must be willing to invest in yourself.

 Job Details:

  • Full time with benefits
  • Travel requirements are 40-50% or greater and will vary depending on business demands.
